The service
CollaBand lets bands record together on a song and create videos from it. The service is free of charge, is provided without any warranty and may be changed or discontinued at any time.
Your account
CollaBand requires an account with a passkey. Keep your recovery key safe: without a passkey and without that key we cannot restore access. An account belongs to one person; do not share it.
Your content and rights
Only upload music and recordings to which you hold the necessary rights, for example your own songs. For cover versions, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary licenses yourself. You retain all rights to your content. You only permit us to store it and make it available to the members of your band.
Consent of contributors
Anyone who records a take agrees that the recording will be shared with the band. Only publish a video if all contributors agree.
Prohibited use
Prohibited are unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or pornographic content, content depicting people without their consent, use as a general file host, and attempts to circumvent security measures or limits. We may delete such content without prior notice.
Storage
Songs are deleted automatically after 30 days. Save videos, mix and stems yourself in good time. There are limits on file size, length and number of takes.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for data loss, outages or damages arising from use of the service. Swiss law applies; the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the operator.
